IT Support Specialist
The purpose of this job is to assist employees and customers with operational issues involving company hardware and software; to provide support and maintenance to company IT equipment and services. Candidate must have an Associate’s Degree in computers, networking, or IT. Minimum of three years’ experience in IT; wholesale food industry a plus. The successful candidate will provide technical support and training for computers, servers, customer ordering systems, and telephone systems. Will provide maintenance of equipment related to operations (phones, computers, software, cash registers, etc.). Will manage backup and security systems. Will perform computer repairs, upgrades, installations, and virus removal. Will assist customers and employees with problem resolution. Will be required to stay up-to-date in technology advancements. Must be able to learn and comprehend new software systems. Travel will be required to multiple locations. Will be on-call for certain circumstances. Company offers a robust benefit package.
