The purpose of this job is to keep all departmental, facility, and location equipment and machines in good repair; including mechanical equipment, refrigeration equipment, and structures. Duties will include: insulating, welding, machining, carpentry, electrical repairs, mechanical repairs, installation, alignment, balancing, heavy cleaning, and painting.
This job will require preventative maintenance of facilities and machines. The use of tools including but not limited to hand tools, precision measuring equipment, electrical tools, and electronic testing devices.
Must be able to diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them. Will be responsible for not only the repair, but the documentation of the repair performed with type and costs associated.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Hours will fluctuate based on the repairs needing completion. Holiday hours may be required if a breakdown occurs. This is a food facility, so we are open for business on most holidays. On call may be required for emergency breakdowns.
