A family business
The three brothers, Steve, Joe, and Tom, worked after school and during summers for Harry and Mary Jo Helsel, stocking shelves, picking orders, and making deliveries. After graduating, the brothers stayed in the business; calling on customers and visiting stores. Eventually, they borrowed money from Dale National Bank and bought the business from the Helsel’s when they retired, forming McAneny Brothers, Inc. in 1979. Steve, Tom, and Joe learned the business from the bottom up, implementing their values and strong commitment to quality.
The Next Generation
Continuing the core values of the family business, a new generation of McAneny’s has now entered the company, maintaining the shared traditions learned from their early exposure to the industry. Their commitment to hard work and excellence will pave the way for the future generations as well, ensuring long-term success.
